Our Story
My name is Jon Troutt. I believe that exceptional design can improve our life experience. In 2021, I began a career dedicated to crafting beautifully designed spaces that evoke a sense of joy. I firmly believed that if I experienced such positive reactions to good design, others would as well. To imagine that I could increase beauty and joy in the world was a worthy pursuit.
Following the difficult decision to leave my previous career, I established Bon Air Build, named after the family farm where I grew up in Gallatin, Tennessee. I possessed the confidence to know that if I felt a deep sense of fulfillment from my work, it would hold significance and value for others.
With this vision in mind, Bon Air Build would cherish the opportunity to Elevate Your Possibilities. Our goal is to establish a reputation for leading with timeless design while knowing that exceptional quality must be a standard. Our Process
Discovery & Planning
We begin by meeting with potential clients to ensure the partnership is compatible. Once we decide to move forward together, we take time to clarify your vision, align with our goals, and define a clear path for the project.
Design
In collaboration with your architect and our in house design firm, Avek Design Co., we gather your ideas and requirements. Then we refine and elevate them into preliminary plans that set the foundation for your project. Once your design is finalized, our designer will guide you through selections for the entire home.
Budget
With all plans and specifications complete, we can provide an accurate final cost for your build. This superior planning process ensures confidence in the price of your custom home.
Construction Oversight
We believe good communication is foundational for a successful project. Throughout construction, you’ll receive frequent updates and progress photos, along with opportunities to share feedback and ask questions. This open dialogue builds transparency and confidence every step of the way.
